APWA WA Chapter prides itself in its willingness to give back to the communities we serve. Each conference, the Chapter President designates a specific charity that is near and dear. This fall, our President chose Make-A-Wish.
Together, Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. This can have a real and tangible impact on a child’s health. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities.
Make-A-Wish believes that a wish experience can be a game changer. This one belief guides them in everything they do. It inspired them to partner with APWA and create wishes that change lives.
Right now, there are enough children waiting for their wishes to fill seven school buses. Children with critical illnesses need your help today!
Attendees at Wednesday’s kick off luncheon will have the opportunity to donate to Make-A-Wish.
